The urban and rural landscape is a source of constant free movement and deconstruction...

My interest in deconstruction stems largely from my involvement with the breakdown of the physical environment. A certain amount of distress when a subject or area is erased is an important aspect of my work.

"The abstraction is often the most definite form for the intangible thing in myself that I can clarify in paint" Quote from Georgia O'Keeffe (1887 - 1986)

The layering of paint form very necessary areas. Larger blocks of colour are dissolved with indents from previous structures. They can appear dimly at first, resulting with the underlying construction of smooth and coarse lines working together as one action.
