Hanno Rol
Johannes "Hanno" Rol was born in the Netherlands. At the age of 16 he attended a special course at the Pre Academy of Arts.
Characterisitics of his pastel, watercolour and oil works are reminiscent of the old masters with wonderful use of paint, colour and form, the brush work is intense, layered and evident and the building of light and texture is unrivalled
He exhibits in the Netherlands and in New Zealand.
