Anna Crawley
Anna Crawley is a New Zealand based artist of Samoan origin. Anna works in many different mediums from acrylic on canvas to 3D work.
Her ‘Horizontality Series’ of works is her current focus where she physically takes the work to the floor whilst creating it. Anna sees that “…lowering my work to the ground allows for a different way of exploration” a process she sees which “opens up” a dialogue between her in the process of creating her work and the materials she uses to create that work.
